2013 Ford Explorer Sport

This fall Ford will start delivery of its new 2013 Ford Explorer Sport. This seven passenger SUV will come with a host of new improvements and modifications. The biggest and most noticeable improvements will be seen under the hood. Popping the hood will reveal a V6 3.5l EcoBoost engine that produces a whopping 365 HP and manages to get16/22 mpg. This is a quantum leap over the previous year model of just 290 HP. This increase in power has of course forced Ford to create a Terrain Management System that can optimize the increase in power. The terrain management system is design to change with the road condition that the explorer is traversing. Ford has also had to give it a bigger set of brakes to go along with its new muscle. All this power gives the mighty Ford Explorer a maximum towing capacity of 5000 lbs. It will still come with its six speed transmission.
